Yesterday’s post about CD ripping introduced one of my favourite ripping applications, CDex. This is 100% free software, and does an admirable job that’s good enough for most of us. It’s especially good for ripping CDs in new or near-new condition, and plays very well with the freedb database (so you don’t have to worry about typing in ID3 tag information).

A little while ago I wrote an eBook on how to install, configure and use CDex. It’s been updated since, and it’s my pleasure to offer this to you as a free, no-strings-attached download. (18 pages, PDF format).

Hunchy’s Insider Guide to CDex

Enjoy, and please let me know of you found this eBook useful (or if you found any mistakes).
