Ok, it’s nothing to do with MP3s but I really felt I needed to give these guys a plug.

I’ve been fooling around with various internet marketing concepts for a couple of years now. Made a bit of money, too. My first involvement with IMC was to purchase their Insider Secrets book, some 800 pages that gives the full story on how to set up an online business.

Look you’ve probably heard all that crap about making gazillions of dollars with no effort. That’s just bullshit. I know it. And your suspect it, right?

It’s bloody hard work, your plans fail way more often than they succeed, but when they do start generating cheques in the mail and Paypal deposits – it’s a wonderful thing.

IMC doesn’t promise riches. But they do know what they’re talking about and the Insider Secrets book is basically a how-to manual for aspiring internet marketers.

Last year I signed up for their Protege mentoring program. Basically this is 6 months of fortnightly calls with a mentor who advises you, kicks your arse when you’re slack, and helps you take an idea into a viable online business. Not cheap, but money well spent.

This blog is a direct outcome of that mentoring. Now, this program is an “invite only” one so it’s not available right now, but another option is the Protege Bootcamp – 7 hours of video on DVD plus a workbook.

Conclusion: if you’re even vaguely interested in internet marketing and you don’t know where to start – these guys have the juice.

Finally IMC are running a low-cost offer on their Search Marketing Lab, which is a subscription service providing monthly newsletters, online coaching, and one-on-one SEO advice. I do SEO for a living so I haven’t used this, but it sounds alright.
